Autofocus Flaw in BMPCC?

PostMon Sep 30, 2013 9:45 am

I just received my BMPCC and have mounted a brand new Panasonic Lumix Vario G 35-100 f2.8 lens (one of the lenses that has been tested by BMD). When I try to autofocus by pressing the FOCUS button once, the camera does not focus. I can hear the lens focusing, but even if I start manually focused, the camera will defocus.

Is anyone else having a similar problem?
Does the lens require an adapter?
Is there a firmware update required?
Is the camera not working properly?

Thanks for any help,
Steve

My first test (German) video with the pocket. BM starts at 0:20 (before iPhone). I had the focus problem at 1:30 in the dark.
