Is HDMI problem due to update?

PostMon Oct 07, 2013 9:26 pm

My HDMI port doesn't work on my Pocket.
It did before I updated to 1.42.
Could it be that the port problem is due to the latest firmware and can I assume it will be fixed in the next?

Otherwise I have to send the camera in for repair and that is a bummer.
Right?

Please advise.

thanks

I updated to the latest firmware and my HDMI port works as normal.
I don't know if you can but maybe re-install the firmware?

REinstall the firmware and roll back an install the previous firmware. If the problem persists, contact BM support.

I cannot get my hdmi to work on three monitors I tested.

I thought it might be an issue with my monitors as they were a little older.

Make sure your monitors can support the progressive signal from the camera.

I haven't upgraded to 1.4.2 yet. But I have a 7" Chinese brand with peaking, zebras, and it works with every frame rate on the BMPCC. Really nice high quality Monitor. Even has Barn Doors for outside and uses Sony L batteries.

Mine also doesn't work with the cineroid el4 evf. I only get strange color patterns.

Sometimes it helps when you press "Play" and when the monitor catches the signal, press "rec".
