Battery Door on Zacuto

PostTue Oct 08, 2013 7:27 am

Looking at a few rig options and I was wondering, has anyone used the Pocket Cam with a Zacuto Gorilla Plate V2?

Did you have full Access to the Battery Door?

Thanks!

http://store.zacuto.com/target-shooter/

The Target Shooter is our lightest DSLR kit. It has three points of contact by having both hands on the camera and the gunstock pressed into your chest. You can add a recommended fourth point of contact with one of our Z-Finders or with an EVF via an EVF Gorilla Plate Bracket.

The included Gorilla Plate V2 attaches to the bottom of your camera using the standard tripod screw hole. The Gorilla Plate V2 has a 15mm rod port on the underside which allows you to attach the main rod for the Target Shooter. The rig can be freed from the Gorilla Plate V2 by flipping the red ratcheting lever. A tripod plate can be installed under the Gorilla Plate V2 for quickly moving from handheld to tripod. Or use our Gorilla Tripod Dock to keep a universal docking station on all your equipment.

The Target Shooter cannot accommodate a follow focus or matte box as it does not have a full baseplate with rails. If you’re looking for a kit with these accessories, we recommend checking out our Cinema DSLR Kits that have a shoulder pad and counterbalance weight to properly balance the rig.

The Target Shooter is compatible with the Blackmagic Camera!

I would still contact zacuto since they stated the above Gorilla Plate V2 for the Cinema camera and not the pocket camera.
