Loupe/Viewfinder for the Pocket...

PostFri Oct 11, 2013 5:28 pm

Anyone found a Loupe that fits the pocket? Or adapted a hoodman maybe? Screen is even worse then the BMCC in daylight.

Trying to keep the pocket light and stealthy as a second camera!

My HoodLoupe 3" is exactly the right height, but it is 7/16" or 11mm too narrow. I'm thinking of getting one of these extensions:

or

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/7 ... Riser.html

I'm sure either will be wide enough. Does anyone know which adds the least height?

BTW I probably wouldn't even be considering this option if I did not already own the HoodLoupe and the Camcorder Mount straps. I would probably just wait for more purpose-built options to appear. But the OP is in a hurry and this info may also help him.
