Possible inexpensive Audio Solution for iPhone users..

If you have an iPhone 4 or above this might be a cool audio solution for BMCC and BMPCC users...

That's a pretty cool gizmo. I'm not convinced the audio would be any better than the built in BMPCC mic but it would still be fun on the iPhone.

I'd buy one if it worked on the iPhone 5.

The mic will be better for sure with the Rode IXY mic and the software records in 24 bit mode so I imagine it will be a Lot better .Espcially being able to place closer to the subject on the stand....Hopefully someone will find out soon and report back!!

Once I get my BMCC I may try this option. the stand is only $39...iXY Mic is around $200

I guess if the product does well then the iPhone 5 version won't be far away!!.Actually I think it is only a Physical size that causes any compatibility with the way the clip attaches to the phone so would be easy to modify!!
