Powering Camera With Jag35 110.4 WH Battery

PostSun Oct 07, 2012 1:35 pm

Hi,

I purchased the 9200 MAh battery to power the camera and if my calculations are correct it will last for 4-6 hours per charge. They are the same width as the camera and can be mounted above or below it for a very tight form factor.

They are in stock now.

BMCC 18WH

9200MAh x 12v / 1000 = 110.4 WH / 18WH BMCC = 6.1 hrs run time.

Please correct me if the BMCC draws more power than 18WH.

I have one with my BMCC and I use it to power both the camera and my AC 7 at the moment. Works great, have it mounted near the back of my rails at the moment. Can't say for certain how long it will last or recharge time, I just got it and haven't done a ton of stuff just yet.

I actually just got some stuff from Radio Shack and built my own cable. This was after I forgot to get the 2.1 to 2.5 adapter ;)

No way.. I literally was there yesterday and the lady found one part that I could solder/splice or what not to try and connect it but I chickened out haha. So kudos to you sir! You deserve that power! But I'm glad everything is running smooth.

Random question to anyone reading this, does your battery indicator in your touchscreen blink when charging while powered? Like the 75 and charge symbol will blink on it off but won't blink at 100 percent?
