BMCC Image stabiliser NOT WORK

PostMon Nov 25, 2013 3:34 pm

Hello everyone i am using canon 24 105 with IS, in my Bmcc the IS seems that is not working, i am using the same lens in my 7d and it seems that works fine there. I saw some videos online that some people are using the IS of tis lens in BMCC with no problem.

p.s I don't have an ssd yet so i cannot record , there is any chance that the IS of this lens works only when i hit record button?

Yes,

IS will only be active all the time when an external power source is connected, such as a battery pack or AC mains input.

Otherwise - to save power, it only activates when you press record.
