A call for solidarity

PostSat Oct 13, 2012 6:53 pm

Dear Philip, Vince, Den, and many other privileged friends and blogs I deeply envy.

We now know how good this camera is in the hands of the few.

But now, if you feel some empathy for the thousands of unsatisfied potential customers who in many cases invested in useless accessories for their fantastic invisible camera, please stop posting reviews, videos...

The sooner we forget about this camera, the better.

Stop whining. The cameras are coming. They're running late. Very, VERY, late indeed. But they are coming.
The more videos we have and tests and "useless" accessories we have for when we finally get the cameras, the better prepared we'll be.
And this is coming from a customer who paid the full $3k to preorder back in April and has a full functioning rig ready just to put the camera in as soon as it gets here.

Hey guys....it's ok really, he is just kidding and in sarcastic way expressing a little bit of frustration at having to sit back and watch others go off and use their BMC.

'different parts of the brain must work together to understand sarcasm'

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarcasm

Have to admit, I will feel the world will be a better place when more people have the camera..........

What I'm gonna say is off topic: that quote, from whomever said it, sounds REALLY sarcastic! :)

On topic: +1 the "wow...really?!" Everything's cool. Cameras are shipping and you'll get yours soon. Everybody be cool. You! Be cool...

A dream within a dream, perhaps. Christopher Nolan would be proud.

Vague references to Cheetos commercials...either you're familiar with Chester Cheetah (it ain't easy being cheesy) or you're not. Certainly not high brow enough to go over anyone's head and no shame at all if you've never heard of it. I can gain three pounds just looking at a large bag of Cheetos.

Oh right, I've seen some of those as a kid when I lived in the states I think. While we kinda have cheetos here in Australia, I can't actually recall seeing any ads for them...
