Comments welcome.. All shot in raw on the pocket with the Sigma 18-35 1.8 and the metabones BMPCC Speedbooster. Graded using Captain Hooks new Vibe LUT.

Nice. Any plans to do narrative work with this talent? They might love it in a few years and work for peanuts, I mean more French fries!

You need to add a tipping option. These LUTs are worth a lot more than $10 to me. Keep up the amazing work.

Not to mention your LUT posts should be sticky. They make the camera so much easier and amazing to use.

Thanks Scott! A few people have actually donated 2 or 3 times to show extra support, which is greatly appreciated but not expected. I'm happy people find it useful and the donations are icing on the cake at this point. I'm not trying to make a business out of it right now, just sharing what i've made and found useful. :)

For which camera are you looking for LUTs? Because those are very old LUTs.
Here is a link to the archive I downloaded 5 years ago (hope CaptainHook won't mind providing this):

Than those LUTs are not useful for you. They have been made for the very first BMCC (Cinema Camera) and the BMPC4k (Production Camera 4k).

If you want a free LUT specially made for the PCC4k (with Color Science Gen 4) then have a look at my LUT LBK-Neutral-Hi-DeSat v10

Hi folk and Captain :)

Just saw this communication. I would also be interested in these LUTs.
Camera PCC4K, dynamic range: extended video, shots in Code ProRes 422.
Thank you.

Those luts were never meant for gen 4 color so you folks would not really be helped by those LUTs. Furthermore, Captain Hook helped design the Extended Video LUT so you're already getting the latest 'Hook LUT' for free!

actually I have the BMPC 4k as I stated in the comment before :D
I don't have one of the newer pocket cams. I own the production camera (4k).

So they should be useful, right?
Is there a chart somewhere where I can see which colour space, picture profile etc. my bmpc 4k uses?
in the manual they say "Color Space to BMD Film and likewise set Gamma to BMD Film", but since the manual mixes the bmcc, bmpc and the bmpcc I don't know which it is related to.

.....
Can I change the colour spaces on my bmpc 4k ? There is a film and a video output. But I want to know what name it has exactly^^

Of course the film is mostly flat (but which flat?) and the video is somehow graded already (but which grade exactly? :D)

OK, then I misinterpreted which camera you have ;-)

Don't use the video gamma with that camera, it will cut off even more highlights of the already lower dynamic range of the Production Camera 4k. It is a technical correct version of rec.709 but has no knee point in the highlights.

Always use film gamma (= log) when recording in ProRes and normalize the log footage in post.

If you shoot in CDNG, then you could use Color Science v4 in Resolve (change from v1 in RAW settings to v4) and you could even apply my LUT LBK-Neutral-Hi-DeSat v10 to it - or maybe LBK-Neutral-Hi-DeSat v5 which has less saturation which might be more adequate for the BMPC4k.

nice, thanks for your tips!
yeah I will mostly shoot in ProRes (maybe even 422 not HQ), since I need to record longer concerts etc.
still not sure what LUT I select (as a quick and dirty way) for the ProRes 422 Footage then though.... :D

Hello Robert,

would you mind to provide me the original CaptainHook Luts too? I own a BMCC 2.5k and i'm desperately searching the whole web for the old Captain-Luts, but since his webpage seems to be down forever, I can't find any valid download link anymore...

I would be really grateful, if you could renew your link again...

Thank in advance for your help!
