Media Modules

So I am curious if the media modules will be something we can self-repair/upgrade over time. One of the big reasons our in-house cameras are Blackmagic is that storage is simple to obtain and plenty of avenues to capture footage. I assume there are 2 NvME drives in a raid0 or raid1 for these but as time goes on and storage prices drop, it will be fiscally responsible to swap out a bad drive or upgrade the 2 4TB drives for 2 larger drives with the module that is provided with the camera.

I don’t think BMD has commented on those issues. For example, opening up the 8 TB module might negate a warranty. But we do know a 16 TB module is coming. I’d wait to hear from BMD before assuming it’s user maintainable or user upgradable.
