Corrupt BRAW files

I managed to recover BRAW files from my now damaged CFast card (not recognised in my camera or Mac) but I cant view the BRAW files assuming they are corrupt. They don't show up in Resolve. Is there a way, software utility I can use to fix these BRAW files?

Its happened again to my second Cfast card. I'm using a Lexar card reader, had this for years without issue but twice it happened in a matter of days. Is there problem with my card reader?

Use Recoverit and it sees BRAW files I recorded, recovered files click to open will initiate Braw player but it won't open any of the BRAW video. Resolve don't see them either.

On Recoverit website I found a write-up about BRAW, it mention their "Enhanced Recovery" but I'm not sure if it works

I've found this link call "Treasured" has anyone tried them?

I used Wondershare to recover a corrupted .mov last week. It was the only recovery software that worked but the “preview” had audio and the rendered “save” was silent, fortunately I had the source audio in another location. It’s a bummer that most repair software looks like pron-ware phishing and probably is.

Good Luck

I will give BMD a try as JB has mention.

I don't know what is going on. Mac OS Monterey version 12.7.4 was updated last week. Problem seem to happen when I swap Cfast card with the card reader. First card works fine, unmounted and switch to another card and it stop seeing that second card. I've done it many times previousely without issue. I can buy new card and reader but the BRAW files on there I do want that fixed.

Is it a black Lexar card reader, a few years old? If so this is 100% the problem. Bin it and buy an Angel Bird, or anything else really.

The swap to second card corruption happens with this reader, you have been very very lucky up until now.

Second that, those Lexar readers were crap.
I'm using DeLock now and it had no issues in three years.

Is this is the Lexar Professional Workflow CR2 card reader being the culprit?

Yes, you need to stop using that reader immediately, please see below.

Cheers for that, at least I know what is causing the corruption.
I manage to fix one CFast card using Tuxera but at the expense of erasing all the data. I'm more reluctant to erase the data on my other CFast card hoping to fix the BRAW files instead.
