Is there a plan B?

PostTue Nov 06, 2012 6:14 pm

Would like to know if there is a plan B as whatever the problem maybe doesn't seem like it's correctable in timely manner as I'm sure you would have fixed it by now if it was.

Is the situation basically out of your hands at this point?

Wish you guys the best and will continue to hold out as long as I can.

Too bad that Plan B will be somewhere in the $25-30k USD range when you want to record raw :(

From my understanding, if you mean a "plan B" as in replacing the sensor with another one from another company, it would involve reworking the camera entirely. They tweaked in order to get the best image they could out of that sensor, and if they were to replace it, it would be like starting from scratch.

I hope they are almost done fixing whatever issues the sensors still have/had. Let's hope for good news, once they decide to finally give us some news.

LomoKino ftw! It shoots an amazing 3-5fps on "Full-Frame" 35mm film - all by using a hand crank!
