Camera v1.9.7 released

PostWed Oct 08, 2014 6:37 am

Hi guys,

Camera v1.9.7 is now available on our website.

https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support

In this release, we add in-camera formatting support for the Blackmagic Cinema Camera and Pocket Cinema Camera. You can now directly format an SSD or SD card to HFS+ or exFAT within the camera.

Thanks

Hello I just updated my bmpcc software.
I wish it had a "Quick Settings" in the menu just for ISO, WB, Shutter Angle and Zebra,
I guess this can replace the Meta Data button or the Meters one because those two can be accessed quickly via on camera hard buttons.
thank you very much for your consideration, the Camera is amazing.

Hi,
I've just updated our BMCC (2,5 K) to version 1.9.7. I´m very glad about functions like the possibility to format the SSD and the possibility to turn on and off the level meters.
What I can't see are the frame guides on the camera display. Or does it work only with an external monitor?
Best regards

Only on the SDI overlay at the moment. Same as it always was. Shows action safe and title safe guides. The manual does say it will appear on the camera screen but it does not. Probably did not make it into this build. Maybe in a future build.

Good day. Sorry for the indelicate question, when can we expect the next firmware update bmpcc, as well as possible to participate in the beta test firmware?
Thanks with Regards Vladimir Dolgushin
