Pseudo-3D Music Video shot on dual BMPC4Ks

PostWed Jan 07, 2015 4:11 am

Hey guys, might want to check this one out, a new music video I shot and directed for local Perth hiphop up and comer Marksman Lloyd.
Shot on two side by side Production Cameras, with dual link remote follow focus in a somewhat haphazard little rig.

Anyway, check it out here:

Ran into a few different issues and learnt a hell of a lot about this kind of shooting that I'd be happy to share if anyone is interested.

Great video and interested. :) What type of issues did you run into and what did you learn from those issues?

Ok, not at all what i expected when i read "3D" in your topic title, but a rather cool new idea, the likes i've not seen before - well done, gives me headaches though, but that's not your fault...

When i first looked at the photos of your rig my initial thought was "oh dear, much too wide IO to fuse the images!" - but of course that never was the point.

Stay creative, man!

Hey, that's pretty sweet. Neat concept. I'm sure that was one hell of a learning experience.

Loved the video! Great work. I was wondering if you ran into any issues with Fixed Pattern Noise on this shoot since you were shooting in such dark conditions. I bet that was one hell of a rig to move around with!
