Nice cheap SSD storage case

PostMon Dec 03, 2012 2:40 pm

All these SSD's and no camera to use them in... sigh!

Anyway, I thought I'd share with you my little cheap SSD case solution. I bought 4 of these protective rubber cases for just £3.06 each. They protect the SSD nicely and you can slip the SSD out very quickly. There is a small flap that lifts up for easy access to the connectors, while keeping the SSD safely snug in the case during connection to your computer.

Hey guys,

I was desperate to get the Blackmagic SSD cases and couldn't find them anywhere unless I wanted to buy a box of 90. Anyway I've found someone on eBay selling them

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Blackmagic-Design-Cinema-Camera-SSD-Case-/181133962072?pt=UK_Photography_Movie_Camera_Accessories&hash=item2a2c6ceb58

It has a buy it now of £8:50 which is alright with free shipping. I made a best offer and got a couple for £8 each.

For carrying SSD's i like these cases. Each case holds 4 SSD's and you can pull out the SSD holder and put a 3.5" HD in there. They sometimes sell them in packs of 5 for like $30 on amazon.

Hi,

Google: "Startech protective SSD case"

They are great - they do the job, they are compact, they are inexpensive, and they come in a bunch of colors

$17.41 for a three pack at Amazon.

BTW, how come we can't post a link? Just wondering.

Rick
