Hi all,

I need to get a copy of the old 1.5 firmware to downgrade two pockets!

Basically Blackmagic after 1.5 changed the hdmi output settings on the pocket so it no longer gives 1080i50 when overlays are off.... which means it can't be used with their own ATEM TV Studio.

If anyone is able to post a wetransfer link to the firmware that would be great, (I've dug around the website but can't see a way of getting 1.5 anywhere)

Same situation as everyone Im afraid, foolishly did not keep a copy, so stuck with incompatible BMPCC output for TVS

Shouldn't firmware 1.7 do the trick? As far as I remember the big changes came with firmware 1.8.
And neither 1.6 nor 1.7 changed anything for the pocket.

Or has the way the output works been changed between firmware 1.5 and 1.5.1?

AFAIK 1.5 is the only one allowing 1080i clean output with pocket. Sent you a pm with the link.

I was just bitten by this and would need a link to download 1.5 firmware asap. If anybody has that I would be super grateful as a gig is coming up in two days and would hate to start finding another camera.

Hi, I have a same issue with Pocket Cinema Camera. HDMI output does not work with TVS. Is it possible to have that 1.5 Firmware?

You can contact Blackmagic support for that. Normally they provide you with a link.

I too could use the dmg 1.5 firmware version - to use the camera with DJI lightbridge.
