Fear The Walking Dead - Blackmagic Cameras

Saw this little behind the scenes and there's a (what looks to be) a BMCC or BMPC4K. Not sure if this is for the BTS or a B/C/D cam on set.

Thought that was pretty cool.

They're shooting on the Alexa so it kinda makes sense.

Looks to me like they shot the BTS clips with BMCC.

Are The Walking Dead shooting on Arri Alexa? I thought they were using Super16. Have they changed?

The original Walking Dead is Super16 with 7D and such mixed in for extra coverage. Fear the Walking Dead is Alexa which seems to be heavily diffused.

Oh cool thanks Paul, this is the first I've heard of 'Fear the Walking Dead', although I am a fan of the original. My confusion.

I remember reading about how on the original they tested out Red, Alexa, and chose Super16 because they believed it hid the seams in their zombie make-up best.

Choosing Alexa now makes me wonder are they more confident in their make up, although you say there is heavy diffusion.
