Shuttle won't recognize video

Hey guys!
I plugged in the sdi in port on the shuttle 2 to the sdi in port on the studio camera, but it still isn't recognizing video. my ssd is formatted to Exfat so it should work fine.

For starters, I would plug the Shuttle input into the camera's SDI Output (not input) you should get a signal then. Then connect the output of,the Shuttle,to the camera's video,return SDI input, then you can toggle,thr Studio camera display,and see the signal from the Shuttle, and after recording a few seconds, play back the Shuttle to confirm it is recording.

I do,this every time I set up a,camera, to make,sure,it is working correctly. The Shuttle recording codec, needs to be set via its USB with a computer, i.e. ProRes HQ or DNxHD or uncompressed video.
