Hey! Thank you guys for the good words.
Crew was very small- Just an AC, Gaffer, Key Grip and Swing.
We used a set of Rokinons and the Sigma 18-35. For my money those are some of the best lenses to buy for an EF camera on a production scale. Sure they may not sound as sexy as some other "cinema" EF glass like CP2s or those Canon CN-E lenses, but I find them pretty darn good for what they are. Also matched it with a set of light Promist filters.
Lighting wise, we had a 12x12 Ultrabounce out on the balcony for a general push in, the sun did most of our work with a small 1.2k for a bit more focus. Then we used Jokers to get a few more directional hits here and there. Once in a while I would float in a Kino for some more fill when needed.
As I said I am not a huge RED fan, and though at times you could call me an ARRI fanboy- sometimes the budget just isn't there. BM fills a nice gap that allows me to own a camera w/o going 100k in debt.
