B&H doesn't release that information. Anyone who ordered from B&H does not know what number they are in line.

I think you are being very optimistic if you really expect your camera to arrive in May

I ordered my EF BMCC at B&H on November 5.
On January 10, I called the guys and they told me I was 523 th on the waiting list. Until that day, the total orders for BMCC was 693. Each day I'm more impressed with what this camera is capable of. When I ordered, I knew I would have to wait. I keep waiting. May is good for me, considering that I ordered in November.

How can B&H give you an estimate, when they don't know what BMD are capable of in terms of Full Production?

They usually send this stupid email telling we are still waiting.
So I wrote directly to customer service, and that was the information I got.

So...

"Please be advised that the BLACK-MAGIC BLACKMAGIC CINEMA CAMERA EF MOUNT you have on backorder is expected to arrive at our warehouse early May. As soon as we receive it from the vendor/manufacturer we will promptly ship it to you. We apologize for this delay and for any inconvenience."

I ordered in November too...

Now I'm depressed, I was hoping sooner but I was being too optimistic. May would be on the fast track and to think that I bought most of the gear expecting to have the camera around that time. I was dead wrong.

On the bright side, maybe Metabones will have their adapter (EF lens to MFT mount) ready by then. I would have to change my order to the MFT.

A lot of us ordered between June and October thinking a possible Dec/Jan release.
I cancelled both mine in Oct (ordered June).
I doubt anyone outside of May has received from their distro.

ef lenses needs to be powered, from where this would come from ? btw metabones already had a nikon to mtf speed booster, in their labs, someday it will go mass production.
