Did they came to a conclussion at Adorama?

The camera delivered on Thursday and I haven't heard back from them yet. That said, it should be an even swap with no further troubleshooting and I doubt that I'll find out what happened.

My new BMCC EF arrived this evening and right away I noticed the horizontal banding/strobing issue in all recording formats and at all ASAs.

It's going back to B&H ASAP.

What shutter angle was it set to?

My initial shutter angle was 180, and then I tried higher and lower settings. One thing I didn't mention is that the horizontal strobing/flicker is primarily visible in the darker areas of a shot. You have to really stare at the well-lit areas of the frame in order to see the problem. I also tried a variety of light sources (tungsten, fluorescent), but the issue remained.
