Ursa Mini Audio

PostThu Jul 07, 2016 5:21 am

Just a suggestion that may or may not be possible to achieve...

It would be very useful to be able to use the onboard microphones sent to say Channel one and then have the other Channel using the external input. This way one can have a combination to two audio sources right in the camera with each occupying is own track or channel. This would be very helpful.

Also when one is in the 'menu', being able to see the levels as one changes the input levels would be very good.

And adding a good compressor/limiter with user set variables would be very nice as well. Being able say to set the threshold of the limiter to say 10dB below maximum with a ratio of 10:1 or greater would be a very good way of avoiding possible distortion out in the field without introducing obvious automatic level control artefacts.

Thanks---
