Shooting with the BMCC in adverse weather conditions

PostMon Feb 11, 2013 3:33 pm

A spontaneous shoot in which the BMCC was subjected to heavy rain, snow and high winds.

Shot and edited in one day.

Although it was not a fun shoot, the BMCC performed wonderfully.

Prores or RAW?
Lenses?

The grading really fits into the weather conditions. Your grading actually looks better than the similar look of the movie "Phone Booth".

I loved the neutral colors and am curious as to what you used/if you used anything to shield your camera from the bad weather.
Next time consider posting to the official "I shot this!" thread for any tests/videos shot on the BMCC.
This will un-clutter our beautiful forum and put all these great videos in one place.

Ordered EF mount from B&H on 08/19/12. Received on 04/12/13.

Shot in Prores.

Sigma 20mm f1.8
Canon EF 50mm f1.4

All I did to protect the camera was wrap a plastic bag around it, did the trick.

Also the cleaning process was fastidious.
