PostWed Feb 13, 2013 5:18 pm

I finished this little teaser film last night.

Shot in RAW. Colour done in Lightroom to match the Editorial Stills that the teaser it for.

Shot with cine modded Carl Zeiss ZF.2 - 35/2 and 50/1.4.

Adam - You're my hero!

I really love the colors, sharp focus, and smooth movement following the action. Very nice trailer.

I would have to agree, this is much to sharp for this type of lovely subject! Other than that, nice work!

Strong lighting and very sharp photography. You obviously chose to go in really close and present a very sharpened look. I would not have done it that way, especially on the skin, but it does grab attention. Perhaps that is what the producer requested. It is technically well done, we are only discussing aesthetic choices.

Jesus! That was so sharp, that almost cut my eyes!

Excellent color. Nice phase. But the sharpness in her mouth distracted me a lot.

Hey all

Thanks for the feedback and comments. This was a teaser for for this editorial:

I agree it's a bit over sharp but the look was intentional.

Thanks for the big picture that puts the teaser in context. Now if you look at the stills related to HeartBreaker, they are all gorgeous and effective with that same lighting and so on. Parts of the video are not at all like the selected stills since we are too close, too hard. Can't wait to see how they scare us on Hallowe'en.

If I'm not making myself clear, it might be appealing to have a shot of a nose on a face on a body. But that doesn't mean I'm going to like the camera to do a macro on the inside of that same nose's nostril. Sorry, not so aesthetic however artful it was trying too hard to be. My opinion only.

That was pulled down as the campaign was over. It was a red lingerie promo for Valentines Day last year. The usage rights had expired.

Heres another one that's similar:

Swimsuit promo. Might not be safe for work, if you work in corporate office.

Some of my lenses came from Zeiss already de-clicked. The others I had de-clicked by True Lens Service in the UK (http://www.truelens.co.uk/). True Lens also fitted the solid gear and 80mm front. Yes this is so they fit a matte box properly and that the filter thread is the same on all of them

Duclos in the US (http://www.ducloslenses.com/) offer the same service.
