Alteration of colors in my camera

PostWed Aug 24, 2016 5:48 pm

Hi Guys, I have a big problem with my 2.5 k production camera and I don´t know if the camera has damage.
When I use a neutral density filter I have an alteration of some colors, In the beginning I thought that only passed with the filter but yesterday I recorded without filter and i have the same result in minus quantity but I have an alteration.
I need to know if is a normal process of the camera or if my camera have a problem with the sensor.
Please help me, See the image if someone want to view and understand better what I am talking about. In the original image the backpack, the suit and the sweater are completly black.

It looks like IR contamination.

Purchase a IR Cut filter.

I agree with Tom, blacks changing colors is a sure sign of IR issues. There are several, good IR fit filters available, and have been discussed at great length here.
