bmcc warranty ?

PostSat Feb 16, 2013 4:47 am

I was just wondering if anyone or indeed the bm staff could please point me to or explain the warranty provided with the bmcc. How long is it ? how solid is it ? can it be extended and for how much etc etc. I did look long and hard but I must have missed this info somewhere. Thanks for any help.

Yes this if one of the nagging question I am asking myself. Say what about guarantee, repair, maintenance, battery shift....My camera is in Norway, bought unopened from a person in the US...Let's imagine now that BMD recalls some cameras to fix the infamous flange issue.

Dear BlackMagic Guarantee Design can you enlighten me?

Worth noting that all consumer goods sold within the Eu have a minimum 24 month warranty.

Yes, I was thinking about this the other day. By stating it's only a year, BMD are pulling an "Apple" on us Europeans, and so are many companies here in the UK, who apparently think EU law doesn't apply to them...
