Please tell me - when to BMCC connected external monitor on SDI - internal camera monitor mute?
And internal speaker mute too?
Or not?

No It will stay on as far as I know, and Audio should have no change also.

FYI: You can lower the brightness of the BMCC monitor to save external battery life
when using external Monitor and external battery.

The display on the BMCC does not change when connecting and SDI monitor. Both run independently.

Ha Hey Adam, Thanks for the input, as i was sure i was right, But since I sent my camera in for the flange Fix, I had not actually used an external monitor yet,

When are you going to show us your BMCC master skills again?

No worries. The monitor on the BMCC is your input device. It's how you control most of the setting so it never turns off. It's very useful have it's screen available to you and having an SDI monitor/evf as you can have different info displayed on both.

I've not sent mine in for mount re-calibration yet. Would be interested to hear how long it takes.

LOL! Master skills??? Um... I'm far from a master. I have a little narrative short I've been asked to DOP in 2 weeks time. The director has a nice vision for the look so should be interesting.
