Okay to mix ProRES 442 and ProRES HQ in the same project?

PostSat Mar 18, 2017 4:10 am

Hi. I'm in the middle of a video shoot and using a BMPCC2 camera, my first time using any Blackmagic camera ever : )
Today was day one of the shoot. I started out setting compression to ProRES 442 because I was concerned that ProRES HQ would eat up my SD cards to quickly. However, it seems that I might have misunderstood the calculations I found online about this and it looks to me like I can easily shoot HQ with no worries.
Would it create serious issues later in post if I switch to HQ at this point, ultimately creating a mix of two different compression codecs in this single project?

Thanks
