Timothy, just experimenting on the motion that is associated with various frame rates and shutter angles when the subjects are moving quickly. I saw some motion that didn't appeal to me in last week's footage, so today I shot all 60 fps with 150 degree shutter angle. From tests I performed last year, I know that's likely as fast an angle as I'll use. Looking forward to editing this tomorrow. And I'll see if the shorter angle suited the subject. With controlled narrative and HFR, 216 degrees may be fine, but for fast movement in the frame, I'm looking to nail down how I'll approach it regularly. I enjoy the learning process.
Edit:
I liked the results using a 150 degree shutter angle yesterday. I think I'll stick with that when I need to manage fast motion in a fairly natural way.
