Every human is different.
I have what I call a fitting before each shoot. When having a fitting I'm getting the camera dressed in the different modes I'll be using and I'm checking how it feels to operate in different configurations.
I spent a rediculous amount of money on a custom wooden handgrip that I use. (3k) Because comfort and customisation is important to me.
I bought the wooden camera EVF mod kits because they give me a lot more flexibility in positioning the EVF where I need it for comfort.
My assistant made for me my own custom shoulder pad because the factory one, or for that matter, any after market ones didn't do what I wanted.
It's like buying a suit. You get the best results from customising and making it fit what you need.
If the EVF is your main issue then the Wooden camera mod is great.
