The camera had a huge response at the show and it was great to speak to so many happy URSA Mini Pro owners who already have their cameras. It was an amazing show and the reaction has been really positive.
The fact URSA Mini 4.6K is $5000 USD still blows my mind.
On Monday night at the HBO Camera Test screening URSA Mini 4.6K held its own on a giant screen against cameras that were well more than 10 times the price, or cameras that you can't even buy. It was pitted against...

Even to be considered against such competition was a huge compliment. To anyone who was in the audience I think you'll agree that the results were pretty remarkable.
Thanks for the support and positivity folks.
Stay tuned. We are doing something really exciting here and the fact that people who don't have big budgets can access these cameras to tell the stories they love is what drives us.

We have had the Ursa Mini Pro for about a month and are super happy with it. Look forward to more Raw projects with matching budget.
Any source for more details of your referenced Monday night HBO camera shootout? Those are some pretty high end cameras to be matched up against. Amazing.

In terms of temporal proximity to NAB, I think the Panasonic tease and the UM 4.6K Pro launch are about the same.

Yes, yes they are, and BM got the Camera of the Year, so one could still consider the UM Pro aa a NAB release, that was Actually shipping (instead of just being announced) by NAB. Cheers

Really exciting Tim! I still love the URSA Mini 4.6K that I have. However, now that the URSA Mini Pro is getting the Bluetooth and App it is so much more appealing. Love what you guys are doing. Keep up the amazing work!

Congratulations. Ursa Mini Pro is certainly an exciting camera; despite what happens at Cine Gear Expo in June, I'd wager UMP is the most exciting camera of 2017 (and a lot of other years). I want to see what Panasonic reveals, but I can just about guarantee it won't be capable of shooting 4.6k raw with PL-mout lenses at under $10,000 fully kitted-out.
