BMC ef to mft conversion

BMC ef to mft conversion
In the future will something like this be possible?
It looks like the mount of the ef version (the plastic part that sticks out) is a separate piece from the body.

The reason is because it looks like I may be able to get an ef model but I do think the mft is the ideal version for this sensor. It would be nice if i could in the future turn the ef model into an mft model.
just curious. thanks

The mft mount is far closer to the sensor, which means if you have mft you can adapt to just about anything, but you definitely can't adapt ef camera to mft lens unless you remove the ef mount altogether which would in turn be pointless I'd say. Why not purchase an ef, sell it and buy mft when mft is out, and go from there. I can certainly say they will not make an ef version that also does mft, then the camera would just be an mft mount cam which already exists.
