How do I desqueeze the anamorphic image on the LCD? I can't find a setting for that.

It's there, either 2x or 1.33x. Monitor tab, second page, at the bottom: Anamorphic Desqueeze On/Off.

Whether of not you see 1.33x or 2x depends upon the resolution you are shooting. If you shoot with a 16:9 aspect ratio, your 1.33x will result in a 2.4:1 aspect ratio. If you shout 3072x2560, a 6:5 aspect ratio, then the 2x desqueeze will give you a 2.4:1 aspect ratio.

Ahh, now I found it. I had to select "All" in the monitor tab, not "LCD". I guess that makes sense.

Can you desqueeze also on the BM viewfinder and BM 4K video assist?

On the URSA MINI 4.6K, the anamorphic desqueeze is set ON or OFF in the camera menu Monitor / All. It applies automatically then to the image viewed in the BM Viewfinder.

I cannot find it

1. open the door (to reveal the 5” monitor and the controls
2. set power On
3. press Menu button
4. select Monitor tab
5. select All
6. select Right Arrow to go to the second page of options.

The Anamorphic Desqueeze button can be turned On or Off as appropriate to the Record resolution selected.

Ok but in this manner I get also desqueezed file. I would like to desqueeze only visualisation mode not acquisition mode and have desqueezed file.

Solved.
The resulting imported file has the internal flag “CinemaScope” settled to on.
