Where can one buy discontinued new BMD cameras

PostTue May 23, 2017 4:43 am

I'm Sure there are excess inventory of the BMCC, BMPC4K, and URSA 4K EF since they were discontinued. I wonder where BMD offload them to that they can be purchased at substantial discount. I have been talking with a non profit to teach filmmaking to young paroles so they can learn and be able to have a job skill at a minimum and be productive citizens of the community. I was thinking it would be nice if they can be provided with free equipment to practice and start with. We were looking at refurbished T2i retrofitted with Magic Lattern and a basic lens but a BMCC could be much better.
URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2, Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K, Panasonic GH5
PC Workstation Core I7 64Gb, 2 x AMD R9 390X 8Gb, Blackmagic Design DeckLink 4K Mini Monitor, Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Resolve Studio 18, BM Micro Panel & Speed Editor

Contact BMD Sales. They may be able to help with an 'educational' promotion or similar arrangement to support prisoners reentering society in a productive way.
