Netflix Approves the URSA Mini 4.6K for Netflix Shows

PostThu Jun 22, 2017 3:49 pm

Here's the link to Netflix's Technical Requirements for Post-Production on their shows, but if you scroll down to the approved cameras you'll find the URSA Mini 4.6K (and, URSA Mini Pro can be counted as well) and the URSA 4.6K: https://backlothelp.netflix.com/hc/en-u ... ments-v2-1

This also provides a lot of other valuable information in the event you want to make a show for Netflix using the Blackmagic 4.6K sensor cameras. Granted you must shoot in 4K in order to qualify these days on Netflix to be one of their original programs.

I'm looking forward to seeing the first Netflix show shot entirely on the URSA Mini 4.6K or URSA Mini Pro.
