URSA Mini Pro 4.6K - BLACK SCREEN - BIG NEW PROBLEM

Hello,

Today when i want to shoot a commercial my UMP4.6K don't work - BLACK SCREEN...i try to change the battery, to torn powor off...nothing.

Can anybody help me with this problem?

Have you called BMD Support for your region? They may be able to help you get your camera working.

You can try to power the camera from the 4-pin XLR and the AC/DC adapter?

I'm not sure if your camera is On but the built-in LCD monitor is black or your camera will not power On.

You can also try to update the firmware to 4.4 via the USB connection to your computer. Even though you may not see anything, it's possible the Camera Update program on the computer will detect it and update the camera firmware and all will be well.

If it's just the monitor that won't respond, do you have an external monitor you can plug into either the front 3G SDI or the rear 12G SDI to get operational again.

Such a horrible time to have the camera fail. Good luck!

I have this problem too with ursa mini 4K. My camera worked with this random issues.I think its not a isolated problem at ursa mini cameras. I hope Blackmagic can fix it with a software update. You can read also this topic: https://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=58875

I update to the 4.4 version but nothing...same problem, black screen.

Sometimes after many starts and stops the camera starts but it seems to be reset, for example yesterday started after many stops, today, too, it is clear that there is a problem.

I talked to the Blackmagic and I have to send the camera to the checkups ... I want to point out that besides this new issue with "BLACK SCREEN", the camera has visible FPN, much more visible in the "crop mode" , delay in EVF, the EVF image seems to be too progressive (big motion blur) ...

I missed a movie because of that, that is, I could not use the fixed camera when it was supposed to start filming (BLACK SCREEN problem).

Have you been powering something else with the battery?
Have you been using the D-Tap (Powertap) on the battery plate with a monitor/wireless transmitter or similar?
Have you tried to power the camera with the 4-pin XLR power supply?

Which battery?

What is visible FPN for you? At which settings? Do you see FPN on the LCD or in the recorded images?
Can you show examples?

What is the delay? How many frames?

When you say "big motion blur" have you been using 360° shutter or a faster one?

Where do you record your footage? Cfast2.0 cards? Which ones? SD cards? Which ones? External DYI CFAST to SSD adapter? External SDI recorder? Which one?

I use v-mount battery Maxoak 177 & IDX Cue 95, if i use dc adaptar i have same problem...
My EVF has delay / big motion blur when i pan or tilt my camera.

I use 180 shutter speed & 25 fps, 800 ISO.

I have visible FPN on the low light area in the frame, can try this example:

"if i close iris or i put the cap on the lens and i turn on false color" i see FPN / lines on the image when i pan/tilt my camera (on the low light areas).

I make a video with this problems.
