The Speedbooster, or focal reducer, is not magnifying (increasing image size), it's actually doing the opposite (reducing image size) which is why you have number less than one - 0.58x. Any optic that magnifies will use a number greater than one; eg. 1.1x.
The Nikon DX-Format is their smaller sensor which is 24x16mm - similar to Canon's APS-C. The DX lenses have an image circle that's a minimum of 28.84mm to cover the sensor. In reality, they are probably larger so you're using a "sweet spot" in the optics. BTW, this is very close to Super35 3-perf which needs an image circle of 28.48mm.
The pocket camera has a sensor that is 12.48 x 7.02mm which needs an image circle of 14.32mm to cover it.
So, using some basic maths lets work out how the Nikon image circle is reduced when passing through the BMPCC Speedbooster:
28.48mm x 0.58 = 16.73mm
So you have more than enough coverage with that lens. Essentially the way I think about the BMPCC Speedbooster is that it provides a Super35 FOV on a Super16 sensor.
