Ursa Mini Pro Feature Request

PostTue Jul 18, 2017 4:58 pm

So.. this camera is great. But I want to make it better! Here are some ideas on how to do that :)

1. Proxy recording: Would be so nice to record both raw and prores proxy's.

2. Dual recording on 2 cards: You made 2 SD and 2 CFast slots so please allow us to be redundant. After getting accustomed to my dual card slot on my GH5, it scares me to death to only shoot to one card on big jobs.

3. Video output via Bluetooth to the app: I know there are issues like short distance but still. This feature would be killer. For instance.. using ipads/tablets on gimbals.

So that is all I have for now but if anyone else has anything add it below!

Jonathan, you might be interested in the Blackmagic Video Assist 4K currently on sale to address your recording backup needs.

Bluetooth 4.x has a maximum transfer rate of 25MB/s.
To get this working the camera would need some kind of MPEG2 or h.264 encoder, which as far as we know it hasn't.
Saying "Thx for help!" is not a crime.
