The max payload is not easy to define, it depends also a lot of the shape of the camera system and on what kind of conditions it wil be used. The gimbal construction is very solid and motors powerful.

Don't have an idea at the present - prob. something lighter than 4.2 kilo : 8-) , I did however like the low angle shots you did with it on a boat tracking all the way to the edge - so peaked my curiosity.
