Cfast card real or not?

PostSun Aug 06, 2017 10:31 pm

Hi There,
I'm considering purchasing a 128Gb Lexar Pro 3600x Cfast card from an Australian online store. The problem is the card they are selling does not have the same model number as the ones I currently own.
The model number of my cards is LC128CRBNA3600 and I know these to be genuine. The number of the ones for sale online is LC128CRBAP3600. The only reference for cards with this number when I google it is for some of the cards sold on eBay. There's no trace of this number on the Lexar website.
Has anyone had any experience with these cards and can anyone clear up just why identical cards can have different model numbers.
Thanks!

Just looking at the nunber, it would be regional codes.

CRBNA = North America
CRBAP = Asia Pacific

Thanks for your reply Joshua. Your analysis does make sense. The cards I purchased here in NZ do have the North American number but that could be that the supplier here sourced from NA.
