Will Video Assist pass through SDI to HDMI

Hello, I did a search but didn't exactly find the answer I was looking for.

I'd like to purchase the 5" Video Assist and was wondering if I could input SDI and output HDMI to another monitor? And vice versa?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes. I've used it to pass through from 4k camera to an HDMI Monitor. I assume the opposite ie HDMI in SDI out works too.

As,Steve says, yes it will pass the signal to the HDMI out, but, the signal goes from the SDI input to the. A Video processor, and then output to HDMI. If you feed a UHD signal to the VA HD (5-inch model), it wil down convert the signal to HD, and output a HD signal, not a UHD. The feed fom SDI to HDMI is not a real "pass through" unprocessed signal, as the output is a monitor out of the processed signal being recorded.

However, if HD out will do the job, it works, but there is a slight added delay to the signal, due to the internal processing.
