Ursa Mini 4.6k - Single Horizontal Black Line

PostFri Sep 22, 2017 5:11 pm

I've had a google and search on the forums and couldn't see anyone else with this issue so appologies if this has been discussed before.

I've had my Ursa Mini 4.6k for a few months now and absolutely love it. But now every so often I will end up with a really obvious horizontal line across the upper part of my footage randomly

Anyone know what's causing this at all? I can't seem to replicate it in anyway shape or form. It appears randomly for a few clips then disappears in the same working/lighting environment. Happened on about 10-15 clips in total now over various jobs I think.

I've attached a quick frame grab which shows what's happening. You'll probably need to view it full size/screen to see it clearly enough.

I'm afraid you are mistaken, you have 2 black horizontal lines. There is another one running across the buttocks.

What camera software version are you running?

You can find this on the last page of the setup menu.

Running 4.4 which I think I updated couple of weeks ago.

You can see it better in the video my friend shot with it here. About 32 seconds in there's about 5-6 clips that have the line running across it, then it just vanishes again.
