UMP B4 lens mount compatible with fujinon 18-55mm MK lens?

Hello,

I'd like to use the fujinon 18-55mm MK lens with the ursa mini pro with the B4 mount, but have been told this B4 lens is not compatible with the mount? Is this correct? If so, why?

Fujinon MK zooms are E-Mount or X-Mount. Duclos can make them FZ mount as well. They are made for S35 sensors, not the 2/3" image circle the B4 mount requires.

The only way I see it possible to use the MK zooms on the UMP is if someone manufactures a dumb E Mount for the camera.

E mount is only 18mm FFD so that cannot be accommodated on the UMP.

Thank you Nick and Rick. Looks like I was getting my B4 mounts and E mounts confused. Thank you - I appreciate the information.

I'll have to look for an alternative lens that is similar to the 18-55mm T2.9 lens that I mentioned.

Michael which mount(s) do you want to use with any 18-55mm lens? For example there’s the Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 zoom but that’s EF-S.
