Setting iris on micro studio camera through menu

PostMon Oct 16, 2017 10:09 pm

Is there a way to set the iris manually on the micro studio camera through the menu?

Yes there is.. But you have to check that your Iris in the menu is not set to shutter priority.. Don't have my cam out here. Otherwise i could guide you where to find it.

I have it set to manual, but I can't see where to actually set the iris without using external signals.

Chad, go the the camera menu, set the iris/shutter to “Manual Trigger”this sets the iris to manual control.
To actually change the iris in a MFT lens, you use the second and third arrow buttons on the front of the camera. The shutter speed/shutter angle is set via the menu.

You can also use a SBus controller to set the iris and shutter, along with ISO, Color Balance, focus, and start/stop recording. I have an extra One Little Goat Remote ver 2 available for $100. PM me if you are interested.
