NAB 2013 - What would be great to have for the BMCC

Hi,

This is a topic for NAB 2013 and what you wish for the BMCC to be announced.

One of my favourite announcements would be:

1.Blackmagic/ or another company is making a good and cheap (less than 300EUR) external battery for the BMCC, which is very transportable. Switronix got me disappointed. They don't have a reseller in Germany. I'm paying almost 500EUR if I would buy it in france oder UK.

2. New Firmware with loads of interesting stuff! Audio meters etc.

3. An inexpensive underwater-housing for the BMCC (ewa-marine) announced something in twitter but never got to the point producing it.

4. A better Mic solution than NTG-2 for stereo recording (without the need of external phantom power - battery powered)

What do you wish for NAB 2013 according the BMCC?

+1 For an underwater-housing (Soon)
+1 For Audio meters (Now)
+1 For OLPF Filter (Now)
+1 For External Battery (in Version 2) of the BMCC
+1 For 60FPS or More (in Version 2) of the BMCC
+1 For Active MFT Mount (in Version 2) of the BMCC.
+1 For 35MM Sensor @4k (in version 3) of the BMCC.

Plus all these pluses+++++++but keep it under $4000 In future Versions (2&3 if possible) of the BMCC

No, but I'll be posting our announcements here on the forum in the "Announcements" section during the conference. So, check back around 10am PT on Monday!

I'd personally just like to see:

- more accurate battery levels
- available space remaning information
- Custom LUTs you can install on the SSD for use on the camera's monitor.

Otherwise, I'm pretty damn happy with this little guy

Black balance. My camera arrived out of the box with a giant dead bastard in the middle of the screen. I had to send it back to support and they 're-calibrated' the camera. All good now. Here's hoping they add black balance so people aren't plagued with dead/stuck/hot pixels.

I'd settle for:

1. audio meters (plus the audio glitches fixed)
2. clip management
3. SSD capacity read-out
4. more accurate battery levels and/or a sleep mode
5. pan'n'scan when zoomed in to check focus instead of stuck in the middle of the shot

There seems to be more, and more complaints as the "Third" generation cameras are being shipped!
I just ordered my 3rd EF camera,
And I have 2 MFT's on pre-order, I can not tolerate any QC problems at this point in my investment, But hey.. I may never have any? /Me crosses fingers!

Some respect for European customers, who ordered a year ago and still did not get their camera.
