Mini Ursa Pro 4.6k has bad LCD Touch moniter

PostWed Nov 01, 2017 3:42 pm

Hello All,

My issue on my BRAND NEW Blackmagic Mini Ursa Pro 4.6k is when the fold out LCD screen is fully extended out, the touch screen becomes non- responsive to touch. However, if I close the LCD screen just a little bit, even with a little pan/tilt, it starts to work like it is supposed to again, but the screen has to remain turned/ panned/folded to use it properly so I can efficiently complete my shoots. It is starting to become a huge issue and has cost me a couple of shoots already (before I found a work around) and I am just curious if anyone else has had this problem and could steer me in the right direction.

I have 4 more shoots coming up this month and cannot send it back to BMD just yet...

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a quick fix for it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Would seem like a bad connection. Call BMD Support.

I have the exact same issue...just haven't had time to send it back to BM yet.
