BM False colour --> SmallHD

PostWed Nov 15, 2017 3:48 pm

Hi all,

With the new update to the SmallHD monitors, there is now the ability to customise your own false colour values. So I am wondering if anyone knows the ranges that BM uses for their colours, so I can "sync" my values so my SmallHD displays the same as my BMD stuff.

Thanks
Chris

If you mean the diagram on page 13, of the VA manual, have already been there - not precise enough.

A simple solution would be to line up a high contrast shot, turn on false colour on the Assist/BM camera, daisy chain it to the Small HD and adjust the custom false colour until it matches.

To be really accurate, You need to get the IRE values for the BM colors, then set the SmallHD colors accordingly.
