best audio solution Juiced Link

PostFri Apr 05, 2013 4:28 pm

I have a Canon C300 and I am very happy that it has phantom power for my mics.
I just bought a BMCC and really miss the phantom power availability, it seems that the only solution is this BMC366 from JL:

Apart from not knowing what the price will be, I think it's quite unhandy to get it on a rig.

Any thoughts from you guys?

I would like to add another question;

what is the purpose of using the A-Box, since it is unbalanced?

The inputs on the BMCC ARE balanced. Instead of XLRs they use 1/4" stereo phono jacks that use the extra connection for the balanced connection. You must make sure you use the proper connectors or adapters to achieve the true balanced connection.
