+0.5 -- What? Why half? Because...
I'm pretty satisfied with the frame line guides we have. That said, I would like 1:1, 1.2:1, and 2:1.
• The main reason for 1.2:1 is if I'm shooting 1.2:1 3K mode without anamorphic glass I would like the frame guides to match that frame size since the 1.33:1 guides don't match perfectly.
• 1:1 is useful in case someone needs me to shoot an Instagram video. It happens. And although Instagram takes 1.78:1 videos the 1:1 aspect ratio is the main Instagram ratio.
• 2:1 only because it has emerged from RED as another frame size.

If not, at least add 1:1 for social media shoots.

Hi,
this one one of my biggest annoyances. Clients just cropping videos to square because "on a phone it makes the video take up more screen real estate".
If I could put on a square guide it would at least give me a bit more control over what is shown.
