Mount C to EOS

Is it worth it to buy Mount C to EOS adaptor without 'infinity focus' and a 10mm 1.8 lens?

Will it even work?

From what I've seen when I had my 7D is that Mount C is "impossible" and flange distance issues and some other things I can't remember. But if you find a way I'd like to know about it ;)

the only adaptor I found for C mount didn't have the compensating lens in it, so only macro focus works...

but god damn 10mm 1.8 looks attractive...
